Informative Speech Project

Today you will be selecting a topic to research and create an outline. This is an informative project that will consist of three parts. For now we will only be focusing on the outline. Latter in the semester you will be creating a PowerPoint and speech on this topic, so assure you choose a topic that you are truly interested in.
Tasks
1. Click Here For a list of possible topics (Browse this list to find a topic you are interested in)
2. Post the topic of your choice on the pagecast message board, in a complete sentence.
3. Start a new word document save as "sources" Using your search skills start to do some research on your chosen topic. DO NOT TAKE ANY NOTES YET. Find some sources that you feel are good sources and paste the URL in to your word document.
4. After you have done some research on your topic try to come up with the three sub topics for your chosen issue.
Example-  Mountain Bike.
1.History.
2.opportunies for ridding while living in Montana.
3.  Future of the sport
Again by the end of the period you should have posted your topic on the message board, have a word document with at least 5 sources that you think are good sources, and brainstormed three sub points that will support your stance. See example above.
Tuesday we will be discussing how to evaluate sources.
